Concept
It begins with a real frustration, missing product, or better way to organize, display, or use something.
We Make the Products We Couldn't Find
Every product we make solves a real problem - because we needed it first. Designed, tested and refined in-house to be functional, durable, and worth having.
The Process
Every product starts with a problem worth solving. We design, prototype, test, and refine each idea until it works the way it should.
It begins with a real frustration, missing product, or better way to organize, display, or use something.
We turn the idea into something physical, test proportions and fit, and learn what works through real-world use.
We improve strength, usability, finish, and production details until the final product feels intentional and complete.
WHY DABBLE LABS STARTED
Dabble Labs started the same way many of our products do: we needed something that either didn’t exist, didn’t work the way we wanted, or simply wasn’t worth buying.
Instead of settling, we made it ourselves.
That approach quickly became the foundation of Dabble Labs. We look for everyday problems, awkward products, wasted space, and things that could simply be designed better—then we start experimenting.
Every idea is designed, prototyped, tested, adjusted, and made in-house. Sometimes that means a few revisions. Sometimes it means starting over completely. The goal is always the same: make something useful enough that we would actually want it ourselves.
If we wouldn’t use it ourselves, we’re not finished designing it.
HOW WE MAKE IT
We use a combination of modern equipment and hands-on craftsmanship to turn ideas into functional, high-quality products.
Precision additive manufacturing lets us create complex functional parts, iterate quickly, and produce designs entirely in-house.
Precision laser cutting and engraving gives us clean edges, accurate components, and professional-quality details.
CNC machining gives us precise, repeatable parts with tight tolerances for applications that demand strength and accuracy.
We prototype early and often to solve problems, improve fit, refine functionality, and make every detail better.
Every product is tested for fit, function, strength, durability, and real-world performance before we consider it finished.
Each part is cleaned, finished, assembled, and inspected by hand before it is packed and sent out of our shop.
THE PERSON BEHIND DABBLE LABS
Designer, maker, and professional tinkerer.
I’ve always been the kind of person who looks at something and thinks, “I could probably make that better.”
That mindset is what eventually became Dabble Labs. Most products start with a real problem, an idea I can’t leave alone, or something I went looking for and simply couldn’t find.
I handle the process from design and prototyping through testing, production, finishing, and packing here in West Virginia.
